1) Regulate first
If your body is on red alert, growth feels impossible. Try a grounding skill before you start.
2) Do one small action
One prompt. One breath cycle. One message to a friend. Momentum beats intensity.
3) Don’t go solo
PTG grows in community. That’s why Hellfish Haven exists.
A quick safety reminder:
If journaling or reflection brings up overwhelming distress, stop. Ground yourself (slow breathing, movement, cold water, stepping outside) and reach out to someone safe.
