The Mission

At Hellfish Haven, we believe that the greatest weapon against Veteran isolation is a community that understands the mission. We don’t wait for a crisis to happen; we build the connection that prevents it. By combining the strategy of gaming, the discipline of mindfulness, and the power of peer support, we provide Veterans with a "Home Base" to rediscover their purpose and rebuild their tribe.

Why We Exist

Transitioning out of service shouldn't mean losing your unit. For many Veterans, the "civilian world" feels disconnected and clinical. We bridge that gap. Through a Whole Health approach, we help Veterans regulate stress, develop new skills, and stay engaged for the long haul.

Isolation is the enemy. Connection is the mission. Your critical support deploys resources directly to the front lines of veteran mental health, ensuring Hellfish Haven remains a free, active, and thriving safe haven for all who served.

The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) is the independent state agency that enforces the Massachusetts anti-discrimination laws by investigating complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, and other aspects of everyday life. Pursuant to its mission to eradicate discrimination in the Commonwealth, the MCAD also offers remedial and preventative training, and publishes resources online such as model policies, posters, and guides.

Weekly Hike Meetup!

Join us Sunday’s for our Weekly Rucks/Hiking Group!
Meeting Spot: Nashua YMCA – 24 Stadium Drive Nashua Nh
Day: every Sunday
Time: 0930 hrs
Distance: ~3 miles
Dogs welcome!

We’ll enjoy a beautiful 3-mile Ruck/hike, connect with nature, practice a bit of mindfulness, and engage with an awesome group of fellow outdoor lovers. All experience levels welcome!

Hidden Battles Heroes Meet Up & Support Group meets weekly on Tuesday’s in Lowell. Weekly support group for our heroes to discuss their mental health, PTSD and depression in a peer lead environment. Active or Retired Military, Veterans, Police, Corrections, Fire, EMS, 911 Dispatch, and Nurses.
